In a unexpected partnership that challenges usual expectations, the game developer has unveiled an digital partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unusual Thanksgiving event continues from November 25 through December 22, offering free additional story content for Shadows players.

Strange Adventure Disclosed

According to the formal announcement, "A strange confrontation draws protagonists Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where rumors of banned rituals and terrifying transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot features a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Gemstone Grotto—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her companion from a secret group.

The questline focuses on "bizarre tests and a fearsome enemy" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Recognizable Locations and Metamorphoses

The teaser highlights the Underground Chapel from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family transmitted the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a striking sequence showing a character, presumably the prisoner, changing into a Titan that towers over Naoe and Yasuke.
